美祢線を走ったキハ５８
山口県のデスティネーションキャンペーンを受けて、キハ５８が週末に快速列車として走った。
国鉄色がなんとも言えない渋みを感じさせているのはもちろん、車内も使い込まれ具合がファン心をつかんで放さない。
車内は見事なまでに鉄道ファンで占められ、しかも一人旅が圧倒的に多い（ほぼ全員か）。
大半は１８きっぷトラベラーと思われ、山口県を訪れてはいても、当地をどれだけ潤したのかは不明である。
